The First of Many Stories About My Life
I woke up one morning and got ready for my 9am Religion in America class at Campbell University, with no idea that during that class I would have an fml moment which would give a friend of mine the idea that I should make a blog about my life. I parked my car in the newly constructed Chapel parking lot beside the Religion building, and went into class. Once I got out of class I didn't stay long, instead I went straight to my car and drove back to my apartment. While crossing the highway to get to Stadium Apartments I noticed my car was driving odd, and thought maybe one of my tires was a little flat, but I was less than a minute away from my apartment and didn't want to stop and check for fear of not being able to get my car back to my apartment. It got progressively worse over that minute, and once I reached my parking spot I walked around my car to see what had happened. The back right tire was completely flat, and it had been damaged to the point of non repair. I walk to my friend's apartment next door, but I get no answer. I walk to my other friend's apartment next door, but they had gone to class. I walk to the only other person's apartment which I know in my group of apartments and they are asleep. I give up and decide to call a girl whom I am friends with in another group of apartments on campus. She answers the phone and agrees to drive me to Wal-Mart in order to pick up a 4-way tire iron so I can even get the tire off the car to put the spare tire on. I get the tire iron, and then go to ask about my tires warranty since I had bought a new set of tires from that Wal-Mart only two months earlier. They tell me that I did not purchase the road hazard warranty, and that the 6,000 mile warranty on the tires does not cover my particular situation. I drive home and put the spare tire on before I go to jazz band, but by the time I am through with classes that day the tire center at Wal-Mart had already closed. The next day I have to play in the pep band at the homecoming parade and football game, but since it rained we left the parade and had two hours before we had to report to the game. I figured that since I had the time I would drive to Wal-Mart to pick up a new tire for my car. As I leave the parade I make my way to the highway to go pick up a new tire, and turning onto the highway I hit a pothole and my spare tire pops. It is pouring down rain outside, and I am forced to walk back to campus because at 10am nobody on a college campus is awake. Once I get back to campus I finally get up with the same girl who drove me to Wal-Mart the first time, and she lets me throw the rim in her trunk and drives me to Wal-Mart to buy a new tire for my car. Once I get back I don't have enough time to change the tire so she has to drop me off at the football game. While messing with the spare tire I had covered my pep band shorts and shirt with some kind of grease, and I hadto change into my pep band windsuit before the game. Once I arrive at the game the band director is mad about me and the other person who did not wear the shorts to the game, and he tells us that he is penalizing our scholarship $150.....fml

Oh and next time you need a ride and are in despair, you can call me. I was awake actually...
My favorite part of this post was the fact that underneath the blog there were four links to tire repair cites. Keep on getting screwed by life!! Maybe someday you'll get rich off it.
